Jul 25, 2008 · I prefer a 1050 Dominator for a 440. The best all around carb for a 440 is still the 850 DP but if a 383 can be street driven with a 1050 and still behave itself, then a 440 can too. (That's 12MPG city, not being "nice" to it all the time either, by the way.) Besides, they are purely shocking when you open the hood at the local cruise.

Jan 07, 2009 · The 750 Dominator is a conversion based on a O-8082 1050. I had one of the first ones on my car for a while when I worked at Holley - ended up converting it back (big motor).
